And I don’t like to disappoint people who seek for my help. So, I am here to explain you what exactly you need to do for training your Chihuahua puppy.

Well, Chihuahua training is not a big deal for the dog owners who already have had few other dogs as a pet. While training them, the first thing you should learn is that they aren’t the dogs to whom you can underestimate looking at their size. They might be the smallest breed but can be the most stubborn one if not treat well. These small dogs have big attitude. You need to deal with them in the most suitable way of theirs.

Be a leader but be a good friend at the same time because they love to follow their leaders and enjoy playing with their friends. If you can build up these both characters, then there won’t come such a day when they will ignore or disobey you, except few exceptions. 

I have a Chihuahua in my home and she’s very friendly. She becomes friend with even the “never seen” people in just a minute. That’s why I wonder sometimes if she will welcome a thief too without any complains. But she needs treats for it. She’s so cheap that she will get on side of those people easily who have had treats for her in their hand.

Unlike my Chihuahua, there’s another Chihuahua in my friend’s home which is exactly the opposite of mine. She’s too stubborn and don’t like new people in her home.  She doesn’t like the kids that play with her by irritating. I don’t know what’s the problem, but she prefers to stay alone most of the time.
Thus, I have been able to realize about these breeds in my own way. I think the two dogs of the same breed can also be different with their own nature and temperament. It highly depends on the hand of the dog owners the way they grow up and the personality they carry on.

However, the most important fact I have known is that you should never keep your Chihuahua alone for a longer period. They are social animals and enjoy when people are around them. They definitely love to please their master. So, Chihuahua training will be an easy task if you train them with love and care, using positive reinforcements, consistency and patience.
